Spaceport Cornwall offers launch critical operational facilities, landside offices and labs, as well as land ready for development on the business park.
Centre for space technologies
At the heart of Spaceport Cornwall is the Centre for Space Technologies (CST), a series of world-leading R&D and innovation facilities designed to provide safe, dedicated and responsible access to space.
The CST has been designed with a clear vision, to connect people, businesses and ideas to benefit both people and planet. A Place for Space for Good.
Outside of launch campaigns these facilities are available for hire.
Aerohub business park
The Aerohub Business Park is one of the UK’s largest designated Enterprise Zones with benefits available to qualifying businesses on application. The development plots also benefit from a Local Development Order (LDO) enabling the development of the serviced plots with simplified planning.
Aerohub Business Park comprises 15 level plots next to Spaceport Cornwall with access roads, pavements, cycleways, landscaping and services already in place.
The plots range from 0.26 hectares to 1.26 hectares, priced from £155,000 to £750,000.
Hardended aircraft shelters (HAS)
A number of businesses (including space and aerospace company Space Engine Systems) operate effectively from the HAS area. Offering basic facilities, the HAS site is well suited for modern engineering uses such as engine and propulsion testing.
