Launch Logo Competition

This competition is quite literally out of this world!

The Kernow-Sat 1 Launch Logo Competition will ask students to create a logo that will inspire the overall design that will be launched into space on Kernow Sat 1, a satellite dedicated to support Cornwall’s environmental challenges.

Below you will find three lesson plans that will look at branding, design and understanding around elements such as cultural heritage and colour use.

The competition will start on Monday April 25 and students will have until June 30 2022 to create and submit their logos using the form below.

The Kernow Sat 1 Logo Competition winners, will win the opportunity to visit Spaceport Cornwall to view Kernow Sat 1 and learn how their logo has inspired the overall design used on the satellite that will be launched into space.

They will also win Spaceport Cornwall merchandise, have their logos and names (where allowed) shared through social media and the press and win a certificate for their records.
